In our hospice activities, we were confronted with the fact that patients refuse the sacrament of the anointing of the PATIENT.
Because, according to them, \"Neighbors will think I'm already dying!\"<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

To help our patients who are no longer healed, we try to explain that the grace of this sacrament gives strength to both the soul and the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most seriously ill people are happy that after anointing with the patient's special oil (Latin: oleum unctionis) the feeling significantly improves: it eases \"on the shower\", tension disappears. oleum unctionis<\/em>) savijauta \u017eenkliai pager\u0117ja: palengv\u0117ja \u201eant du\u0161ios\u201c, dingsta \u012ftampos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been seen more than once that patients who have completely lost their strength recover from the sacrament of the Anointing of the Patient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baptism is the 1st sacrament.
\nWith it, God unlocks the triple door:
\n- To live with yourself,
\n- To life with the church,
\n- To life with other sacraments.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

But let's think if the door is just unlocked - it's not open yet!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we dare to open these doors, God will strengthen us.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

People are often afraid of the Sacrament of Anointing the Patient\u2026 they sometimes think it would be the LAST Sacrament and a person can die suddenly and all is over!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No! I myself have already asked and received the sacrament of the Anointing of the Patient 7 times. And as you can see - I have been living for almost 75 years now.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Gospel, the sick went to Christ to be healed.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have to ask, but we cannot expect God to be an \"automaton.\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this is our Way of accepting God\u2019s Will. And this is an opportunity step by step to THANK YOU and for the disease.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until our patients dare to receive the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, we have hope that through our activities, our efforts, our faith, each of them will feel a touch of God\u2019s graces.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
